Maison Chanzy - A Burgundy Wine Legacy

Superb. Very attentive staff and the tasting is perfectly organized. If you want to learn a lot about Burgundy, this magnificent place is the ideal place.

We wanted to drink a glass of Puligny Montrachet in Puligny Montrachet and luckily for us Maison Chanzy was open. What a wonderful and hospitable experience. Camille was charming and knowledgeable and made our stay there really special. We were glad for the cheese plate and coffee for the road. It’s a sleepy little village and most definitely worth visiting. Good job and merci beaucoup;

We arrived at first with little desire to buy anything, but in the end we left with 18 bottles! We were very well received and accompanied during our tasting! Camille immediately understood our tastes and expectations and guided us perfectly towards the wines that suited us. A very, very good experience, in a magnificent location! And what's more, the charcuterie and cheese platter is delicious! A place that really deserves to be visited in Puligny-Montrachet!

Tired of wine tasting with no chance of coffee or bread? Maison Chanzy has accompanying bread for wine tasting menus and coffee for the long road home. Service minded personell that make everything from Bonjour to Adieu a joy.

Last night, we had dinner outside, the only 4 stars on the food are due to the fact that we only ordered dishes to "quench" our thirst ... We drank with real pleasure a bottle of Puligny-Montrachet from their Maison and we were very satisfied, with the quality and honest price. Adequate service, young, helpful and prepared staff. The interior is "young" clean elegant, without many frills often useless ... I would gladly return.

Late in the evening it is difficult to find a table in these parts and fortunately this winery welcomes us for a dinner that turns out to be more than acceptable. Upon arrival a little perplexed because despite the efforts to speak a French that is certainly not perfect, the effort to understand each other is really minimal. But then a good glass of wine (with subsequent repetition), some eggs with truffles that are not bad and a grilled meat really well done, make the dinner pleasant and satisfying, which ends in the beautiful garden under a splendid starry sky. Kind service, especially from the boy. Absolutely correct bill.

From the outside, this unassuming, yet relatively new, 80-hectare winery (domaine) is huge. Wines can be sampled individually or as part of a tasting, with two tasting options available (smaller or larger), for which a fee applies. However, the abundant Grand Crus (one of the few vineyards located here!) cannot be sampled by the glass or in a tasting session. Prices range from around €29 to over €150. For dinner, there's a small selection of smaller dishes, from snails (fairly priced) to caviar (€129 per portion). The courtyard, with its garden and ancient columns, is incredibly idyllic. Unfortunately, the few truly excellent wines were already sold out or "unsaleable"—a shame!

Very nice tasting in the courtyard, we liked all the reds very much, especially the MERCUREY Le Bussiere.

Super nice setting on the terrace in a small garden. Warm welcome, smiling staff and good explanations about the wines. We were satisfied with the tasting of the 6 wines at 35 euros. Only negative point: not enough choice to nibble and accompany the wines. A platter of cold cuts would have been good.

A very educational wine tasting!

Wonderful wine bar with great service, the sommelier went above and beyond to try to secure a large taxi for us when it started to rain and we had bicycles with us. Apart from that the food was very tasty (foie gras pate and cheese was so good) and the wine tasting was expertly explained. Would come back.

A charming winery like almost everything from Pulligny-Montrachet, quality Burgundy Chardonnays and Aligotes.

My wife & I had a wonderful time visiting the Wine Bar! Daniel was great, he gave us a tour & treated us to a collection of excellent wines from the region. Located in Puligny-Montrachet.

Amazing places, superlative wine

Our first tasting after arriving in Burgundy and we have wonderful memories of it. We arrived there by chance because we were sleeping at the Montrachet hotel on the other side of the square, and I thank chance again! The setting of the Chanzy house is sumptuous - both the renovated room and the buildings and the beautiful garden - the welcome is professional but warm - they took the time to explain the different wines tasted and to answer our questions - and we really liked the wines themselves... impossible to leave empty-handed! We also had dinner there (pop-up dinners) and it was simply delicious. I can't wait to come back!

Great tasting, very nice location. A must visit in the Meursault region!
