How It All Began

In 2008, Christophe Bouvet purchased a picturesque vineyard with a vision to raise his children in harmony with nature. Committed to sustainable farming practices, he emphasizes the importance of environmental stewardship. Through his dedication to crafting high-quality wines, he aims to pass on these values to his children, showcasing his expertise and authenticity in every bottle.

"Wine is an art to be told." – Bouvet Family

The Legacy Continues

In 2023, Maxime and Emma, after completing their studies in food science and oenology, joined their father at Château Mouresse. Together, they are committed to preserving their family legacy and ensuring that their passion for winemaking continues for future generations.

The Lands of the Winery

Château Mouresse is dedicated to sustainable viticulture, focusing on soil health, biodiversity, and the well-being of local wildlife. The estate's layout promotes a balanced ecosystem, with surrounding forests providing natural protection for the vines. A natural reed-based wastewater treatment system and rainwater collection ponds support efficient water management, while a drip irrigation system ensures the vines receive the necessary hydration during the summer months.

Our commitment to sustainability extends to energy self-sufficiency, with a photovoltaic system installed on our wine storehouse.

Storytelling through Wines

At Château Mouresse, we take pride in being independent winemakers. Our vineyards are not just about growing grapes; they represent our values of independence and connection. We aim to share the stories behind our wines, from harvest to bottling, fostering a sense of community among wine enthusiasts. The estate features a charming terrace, a spacious swimming pool, and a pétanque court, all set against the stunning backdrop of the Maures Massif.
