Experience Exceptional Wines in Provence
The Vineyards of Commanderie De La Bargemone
Commanderie de la Bargemone is a historic vineyard in Provence, renowned for its exquisite rosé and white wines. Established in the 13th century by the Order of the Templars, this estate has a rich heritage in viticulture. The vineyard is home to a variety of grapes, including Sauvignon Blanc, Rolle, Syrah, Counoise, Caladoc, Grenache, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Since 2015, all wines produced here have been certified 100% organic under EU farming standards, making it one of the few organic producers in the Côteaux d’Aix en Provence appellation.
The Marvelous Wines of the Winery
The wines of Commanderie de la Bargemone have earned recognition both in France and internationally, consistently winning awards at prestigious competitions. Each year, the Concours Général Agricole de Paris honors Bargemone wines with gold medals. Notably, the Cuvée Commanderie de la Bargemone 2020 rosé received a gold medal at the 2021 Challenge Millésime Bio. In the United States, the Cuvée Collection rosé 2020 was rated 91 points by Wine Advocate “Robert Parker” and 93 points by Vinous, who praised its intense aroma. The white wine showcases a beautiful golden yellow hue with green reflections, while the red wine captivates with its ruby color and aromas of raspberry, blackcurrant, and blackberry, complemented by a hint of pepper.
