Spanning 36 hectares, the estate features 26 hectares of lush vineyards, where the flagship Sangiovese grape thrives in the fertile terroir and enjoys a favorable microclimate year-round.

A Rich History of Winemaking

Founded in the early 19th century, Fattoria Svetoni has a storied winemaking tradition. The classic "leopoldina" farmhouse was commissioned by Grand Duke Pietro Leopoldo of Tuscany and has been managed by the Svetoni family since 1865. Today, under the ownership of Podere Rubino, the winery produces Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, along with a selection of Toscana IGTs, DOCs, and DOCGs. The historical cellar houses a variety of oak barrels, both old and new, used for aging the wines.

Podere Rubino has enhanced the winery experience by converting four historic structures into comfortable accommodations. Guests can choose from Charme, Romance, Privilege, or Exclusive rooms, all featuring luxurious bedding, LCD TVs, WiFi, air conditioning, and premium amenities. Wine tastings can be enjoyed on the terrace, offering stunning views of the landscape, or in the charming historical cellar.

The estate cultivates a diverse range of grape varieties, including Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Vermentino.
