Relaxation, Comfort, and Hospitality at Fattoria Svetoni
Flanked by rolling hills, Fattoria Svetoni is located in the territory of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, supersizing the views of the Tuscan countryside. The total area covered by the estate is 36 hectares, where vineyards hold 26 hectares. Sangiovese is the flagship vine of the Svetoni farm that grows in the fertile terroirs, enjoying microclimate throughout the year.
History of over 150 Years in the Heart of Tuscany
Established in the early 19th century, Fattoria Svetoni boasts extensive winemaking. Initially, the winery was named Leopoldina, owned by the Grand Duke of Tuscany, Pietro Leopoldo. He started his journey as a vine grower and later began producing delicious wines in 1865. Today, Podere Rubino owns the Svetoni farm and delivers top-class Toscana IGT, Chianti DOC and DOCG wines. Old and new oak barrels of different sizes, beautifully lined up in the modern cellar, are for wine aging and refining.
A Winery with a Well-Furnished Farmhouse
Rubino has upgraded the winery experience by converting four historic structures into a relaxing accommodation. Guests can choose to stay in Charme, Romance, Privilege, or Exclusive. A vast array of grape varieties are grown on the historic land of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano. Some of the important ones include excellent Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Vermentino. Along with vines, Podere Rubino takes care of his olive groves, flower meadows, and vegetables on ten hectares – truly a magnificent spot to spend vacations with family and friends.
