Located in the picturesque Rüdesheim vineyards, Georg Breuer Winery is a celebrated name in the Rheingau winegrowing region. Each wine produced here reflects the rich soils and distinctive microclimates that define this area.
The winery's roots trace back to 1880, marking the beginning of a long-standing tradition in winemaking.
Initially part of a wine merchant company, Georg Breuer became a family-owned estate in the early 20th century when the Breuer Family acquired the vineyards. With a deep passion for winemaking, they expanded the winery's reach, gaining international recognition for their wines. Georg's sons, Bernhard and Heinrich, further enhanced the estate by acquiring prime vineyard land in Rüdesheim and Rauenthal.
Today, Bernhard’s daughter, Theresa, leads the winery, overseeing vineyard and cellar operations. Since her father's passing in 2004, she has collaborated with production manager Hermann and winemaker Markus to maintain the winery's high standards, crafting Rheingau wines that are cherished globally.
Theresa focuses on two key grape varieties: Riesling and Pinot Noir, cultivated across 34 hectares—27 in Rüdesheim and 7 in Rauenthal. Additionally, she grows Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Orléans, and Heunisch on the steep slopes of Rheingau. The winery features a welcoming tasting room where guests can enjoy wine tastings, relax, play board games, or take a vineyard tour.

I was just at the Breuer winery as I stopped off in Rüdesheim. The wine cellar is beautiful and the wine shop is very bright and inviting, with a great selection of good wines from the Rüdesheim region. It was a great first visit and won't be the last.

The best wine tasting experience in my life. The woman explained every details and story of wine. Also she answered to all questions with patience and earnest. I felt how this group is proud of their value. I respect their principle and belief. I’m gonna be a big fan of this winery. Please try their wine from entry level to high. You can feel the quality and value what they pursue. I hope I could do a cellar tour next time. Different Class! Worth to visit.

I must say that this winery does not disappoint at all. Its wine is amazing. They have a big variety that one would get lost which to choose. Tove, the woman with whom we had the tasting, is fantastic! She has explained about every single wine in details and was so patient with us. She also has such a beautiful humour. We are extremely happy to have had our tasting with her. We highly recommend her!!
