As part of the Rheingau gourmet weeks, we were able to enjoy food and drink here. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and, last but not least, the wines were excellent and reasonably priced. We would love to come back.

We had a very cozy evening with delicious cheese fondue and matching organic wines. A lovely atmosphere and welcoming hosts. I would have liked the presenter to have provided more detailed information about organic farming and the differences between organic and conventional wines, which are also reflected in the price. All in all, a real insider tip. We'll be back.

Great wines and a very friendly and personable winemaking couple. Urban Kaufmann showed us his cellar and we were even able to taste the top wine Pinot Noir Hassel GG. Our personal favorites are the Weissburgunder and the Grauburgunder. Both wines have addictive potential.

We were here for a cheese fondue with wine as part of a company Christmas party. The wine was very well matched to the courses. The two friendly hosts created a great atmosphere. Highly recommended!

If you are Riesling lover and visiting the Rheingau wine region of Germany you need to make a stop at the Kaufmann Winery. The Kaufmann winery is a small, family run winery making world class, Demeter certified (Biodynamic) wines. They have a range of cracking Rieslings that reflect the unique terroir they are grown on. Champagne quality sparkling wines, smooth Pinot Noir, and some dry, nice drinking white burgundy in the mix....The price points are very accessible, offering top value for money! Zum Wohl

A great place to try and buy fantastic wine! And I love their idea with the picknick baskets! A trip to Kaufmann with a tour along the Rhine or through the pretty village of Hattenheim is absolutely worthit! The train goes directly from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to Hattenheim.

We sampled seven wonderful wines, got a fantastic tour of their beautiful winery, and ate delicious fondue! A great time was had by all. Eva and Urban are lovely people and excellent hosts. The fondue was amazing!

As a wine lover and tourist coming to this beautiful region on the Rhine River for many years I must say a visit at Kaufmann is a must. The wines are world class and the owners Eva and Urban treat their guests as kings and queens. Do not miss this stop!
