Grandes Vinos is a leading winery in the region of Cariñena in Spain. They are an alliance of more than 700 families of winegrowers in the region. Between 1950 and 1967, winemakers from different municipalities in the region formed multiple cooperatives and they came together in 1997 to create Grande Vinos as we know it today. The region has had a long history of winemaking attached to it with records found as far back as the 3rd Century B.C.

They cultivate a total of ten different varieties of grapes in their vineyards including Cariñena, the native grape variety that got its name from the region. The other grape varieties grown in the vineyards are Garnacha, Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Chardonnay, Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo, and Moscatel de Alejandría. The great advantage of Grandes Vinos, vineyard are scattered all around the region and multiple grapes varieties are grown. They produce red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines at Grandes Vinos Winery. Most of the wines produced are designated DO Cariñena which is one of the first designations created in 1932 in Spain.
