### A Rich Winemaking Heritage The Graziano Family has been dedicated to winemaking and grape growing since the early 1900s. ### The Roots of Graziano Wines Gregory Graziano’s grandfather, Vincenzo Graziano, and his wife Angela immigrated to the United States, eventually settling in Mendocino County. In 1918, they planted their first vineyards, laying the groundwork for a family legacy. During the late 1920s, Vincenzo supported his family by selling grapes to home winemakers on the East Coast and engaging in bootlegging. ### Building a Winery After the challenges of Prohibition and the Great Depression, Vincenzo joined forces with other local grape growers to establish the Mendocino Vineyards Winery in the 1940s. This winery later merged with the historic Cresta Blanca Winery in Ukiah, further solidifying the Graziano family's place in California's wine history. ### Continuing the Tradition Joseph Graziano, Greg’s father, continued the family tradition by working in the vineyard. Today, Gregory Graziano carries on this legacy, guided by the foundations laid by his grandfather and father. His oldest daughter, Alexandra Graziano, a graduate of UC Davis in Viticulture and Enology, is also involved in the winemaking process, marking the fourth generation of the Graziano family in Mendocino County. ### A Commitment to Quality The Graziano Family of Wines remains committed to producing high-quality wines that reflect their Italian heritage and the unique terroir of Mendocino. Visitors can appreciate the dedication and passion that has been passed down through generations, making each bottle a testament to their rich history.

John is a one man "hole in the wall gang". Greg's wines are hugely underrated with a diversity not seen on a daily basis. This is the place for case purchases but you'll be just as welcome stopping by for a tasting.

Great winery! They make 20+ wines, all good. But I'm especially enamored by their Italian varieties: Barbera, Dolcetto, Negroamaro, Arneis, Vermentino. John presides over the tasting room with knowledge and wit. Worth the drive.
