Winemaking tradition since the middle ages

The Neszmélyi wine region has been producing grapes since the middle ages and was an important exporter of wines in the 18th century. After losing footing in wine production after the second world war, the region has recently revived as an ideal location for viticulture. Hilltop is the premiere winery of the region, with many wines in the estate’s wide range attracting international attention. The vineyard includes varieties such as Irsai Olivér, Cserszegi fűszeres, Királylányka, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Chenin blanc, Merlot rosé, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. The state-of-the-art winery produces red, white and rosé wines.
