Konopane Winery is rooted in the rich history of the ancient village of Mogilovo, Bulgaria. Nestled 37 km northwest of Stara Zagora and 25 km northeast of Chirpan, this charming location in the Sernena Sredna Gora basin offers an ideal terroir for viticulture. The village's name, derived from its historical association with cannabis cultivation, reflects the agricultural heritage that has shaped the region. Today, Konopane Winery stands as a testament to three generations of winemaking passion and dedication.

The winery sources its grapes from its own vineyards, cultivating renowned varieties such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Mavrud, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. The quality of the wines produced here is a direct result of the fertile land and favorable climate, with minimal technological intervention ensuring that the natural characteristics of the grapes shine through.
