A Beautiful Wine Tasting with a Trip to Florence

The charming estate, just 18 km from Florence, covers 315 hectares of land and cultivates vineyards, olive groves, woods and grain. A belt of Cedars of Lebanon and yew trees, that surround the vineyards and cellars of the villa, give it an exquisite appearance.

At the Winery Taste Wines as Well as Natural Olive Oil

In the last half of the 18th century, Niccolò Antonino Gondi enlarged and rebuilt the villa in an extravagant, artistic style of architecture. In between 1878 and 1884, Francesco Gondi renovated the villa again by closing off the central courtyard, creating drawing room and adding a floor to the villa. Presently, Marchese Bernardo and his sister Donatella are the owners of the estate and the villa. At the ancient Bossi Estate the owners have preserved their family tradition and culture of making Chianti Rufina wine along with extra-virgin olive oil as well as the famous dessert wine Vinsanto. Tenuta di Bossi cultivates the highest quality of wines, including grape varieties Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Trebbiano, Sangiovese, Colorino and Merlot, just to name a few from their wide range of white, red and rosé wines. Further, they also produce three Super Tuscan wines as well as the famous dessert wine of Italy: Vinsanto. If you are considering planning a short trip to Tenuta di Bossi, you will enjoy the intense taste of delicate and famous Chianti Rufina wines.
