Although the wine production history of Laluce Family is old dates back to the early 1900s, the new winery – Michele Laluce – came into being in 2001 when Michele took over his father’s business. Today, with great love for wines, Michele is following his ancestor’s footsteps and takes care of every single vine himself. Over the years, the owner has combined conventional methods of viticulture with a spice of innovative and modern grape farming techniques. The company produces various kinds of organic wines with respect to nature. It includes red, white, and dessert wines, all under the Aglianico Del Vulture DOC and DOCG labels.

The Wines Express the Terroir

The vineyards of Michele Laluce are stretched over an area of seven hectares where the owner cultivates the highest quality Aglianico Del Vulture grapes. The organic cultivation is carried out by skillful staff and expert oenologists that guarantee the production of excellent organic wines.

Every wine at Michele Laluce Winery expresses the importance of terroir and the volcanic soils present in the region.

With the complete renovation of the ancient wine cellar, Michele Laluce has introduced many modern winemaking techniques. The vinification of Aglianico Del Vulture takes place in large stainless steel tanks. Furthermore, to acquire the desired flavors, aromas, and colors, the wines are stored in oak barrels and large wooden casks for effective aging and refinement.
