The Fascinating World of Wines

Montesquius wants you to enter the fascinating world of wines with their fascinating wines to accompany you.

The History of Montesquius

The journey embarked all the way back from 1918 in Penedes. The Satacana family in the region took their passion of winemaking to another level and gave birth to the winery. To this day, Montesquius has continued the ancestral winemaking tradition while being respectful and mindful of nature and environment. It is the perfect example of balance between nature and tradition while one goes forward.

The Power of the Lands of the Winery

The Penedes is considered to be one of the best wine regions across the world and Montesquius takes full advantage of its position while nurturing the lands it takes from. The terroirs here have a diversity of microclimates giving the grapes a unique taste and ultimately giving the wines a smooth finesse and taste. The climate works perfectly with the lands to produce the right grapes.

A Wide Variety of Grapes

In these lands, Chardonnay, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Ribolla Gialla, Sauvignon, Traminer Aromatico, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Refosco Dal Peduncolo Rosso are grown to perfection to produce the most exquisite of wines. With these grapes varieties, Montesquius makes red wines, white wines, rose wines and sparkling wines.
