We visited Optima Winery after this winery was recommended by a friend of ours that had visited and absolutely loved this winery! It's in Dry Creek Valley and has a range of wines from white wines to a variety of red wines such a Cabernet Sauvignon, Zinfandel, and other amazing red blends. The winery has a relaxed and welcoming vibe that I loved that made us feel right at home. The wines were all amazing and the wines were all well priced! We had an amazing wine tasting experience! You will definitely want to take home a few bottles home with you like we did! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing wine experience with Nicole at Optima Winery! This winery is located in beautiful Dry Creek Valley and is perched up on top of a hill overlooking the valley. It's tucked away and is a true hidden gem! This was my first time visiting the winery, although was drawn there after previously enjoying an indredible Zinfandel and Knight's Valley Cabernet Sauvingnon from Optima! Ever since I tried their wines, I knew that I needed to visit and I'm so glad that we did! We enjoyed a flight of wines and we absolutely loved all of their wines! There were two other couples that joined soon after we did and we enjoyed great conversation and laughs all while sipping amazing wines! Nicole was really knowledgeable and we loved the whole experience and the wines! We purchased several bottles of our favorite wines to enjoy at a later date. We highly recommend checking them out if you are in the Dry Creek Valley area!

While driving down Dry Creek Road, we noticed that walk-ins were warmly welcomed at Optima Winery, so we made the spontaneous decision to stop. The tasting room is nestled in the picturesque countryside, surrounded by rolling vineyards and breathtaking views. The setting alone is enough to make you feel relaxed and at ease. The tasting room is beautifully designed, with a cozy and inviting atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. Nicol was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the wines her husband, Mike, has created for over forty years. She took the time to explain the winemaking process, the different grape varieties grown on the estate, and the unique characteristics of each wine we tasted. Her expertise and enthusiasm was infectious, and it made the tasting experience all the more enjoyable. Speaking of the wines, they were simply OUTSTANDING! A few of our favorites were the Miyah, CMP Blend, Zinfandel, and Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Our visit at Optima Winery was an ABSOLUTE DELIGHT. The combination of stunning scenery, exceptional wines, and warm hospitality made for an unforgettable experience. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone looking to explore the world of wine and indulge in a truly stellar winery experience.

We found Optima Winery today off Dry Creek Rd in Healdsburg. If you love Red wines, look no further. We came to the right place. The Knights valley cab, CMP Red blend and the Fitch Mountain Merlot are really amazing wines. Nicol did the tasting and shared back story with the wines. Best wines Ive tasted in a long time. Go see Nicol, she will do you right!!
