Ostatu Winery is a 250 year-old winery established by the Saenz de Samaniego Family. With great pleasure in winemaking, the family has dedicated themeselves entirely to the production of rich-quality wines. Ostatu Winery produces delicious red, white, and rosé wines all under DO Rioja Alavesa status. Today, Iñigo Saenz de Samaniego, the owner and the youngest member of the winery, has renovated the structure of the old cellar. Using both traditional and innovative methods, the owner has combined Spanish winemaking tradition with French technologies to produce wines that live up to their full potential.
Forty Hectares of Confident Tempranillo, Grenache, and Malvasia Grapes
The estate covers an area of forty hectares where the owner of Ostatu Winery grows a broad array of grapes. This includes high-quality Tempranillo, Grenache, and Graciano, in combination with fruity Mazuelo, Viura, and Malvasia. The vineyards are surrounded by the charming Sierra de Cantabria Mountains with an average of 50 years old grapevines.

This is a collection of exceptional wines, ciders, sherries, and spirits of the estate, started by one of the family members, André Tamers in 1996. This collection of outstanding beverages connects various European vinegrowers with retailers and restauranteurs.
