Perched on a sunlit hill, Sculptureum Winery is home to a stunning vineyard that produces award-winning wines. Established in 1994, the vineyard spans 14 acres, with 9 acres dedicated to grapevines. Guests can enjoy breathtaking views of the sculpture gardens and the Little and Great Barrier Islands from this picturesque location.

Sustainable Practices for Quality Wines

Originally known as Hyperion Winery, this vineyard transitioned from a dairy farm to a thriving wine producer. In 2007, owners Sandra and Anthony Grant expanded the vineyard and diversified the grape varieties. Since 2011, Sculptureum has maintained sustainable farming practices, ensuring that the wines reflect a harmonious balance and rich concentration.

Artfully Crafted Varietals

Sculptureum's wines are designed to pair beautifully with fresh, seasonal dishes, as showcased in the Rothko Restaurant's menu. The winery produces a range of elegantly crafted varietals, including a delightful Rosé, a refined Syrah, and a Bordeaux Blend dominated by Cabernet Franc. Each bottle captures the essence of the vineyard and the artistry behind winemaking.

This was a great place to visit and we really enjoyed our time here. There are lots of unexpected, though provoking, curious and quirky sculptures in the garden areas. Those of animals were especially good, but also the ones of kids being kids. The inside galleries were stunning and worth the visit for these alone. The bird aviaries and other all animals were a bonus treat Everyone should visit, and allow at least one and a half hours

Mind-blowing! There are not enough stars or words to give this enough praise. Listed as a "must see" when visiting Auckland region in multiple reviews I went hoping it would be good and a touch skeptical. We spent over 4hours went through 2 camera batteries and phone battery. It is amazing! Incredibly well curated. Every twist and turn delights. I joined the multitude saying it is a must visit!

A lovely visit. We had to come after seeing it on the Traitors. Fortunately the wonderful Karen was on tickets and helped us out throughout our visit with tips and local travel advice. It was worth the admission to talk to her. Some of the indoor galleries with their blown glass were amazing and the trails very inspiring

An amazing experience, even if you've been previously. This is a large place, with many outdoor and some indoor displays of different art and inspirational quotes. Compared to other places, this is a better option for those with mobility restriction or kids as there's a higher density of art pieces and the walk is flat. Many different types of artwork around and you'd easily miss some if you're know paying attention. Personally we wanted more information of some of the art pieces as we enjoy reading about the people who make the art. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Easy parking and easy to find.
