The Hunting Lodge Winery: a stone’s throw from Auckland
Along the Waikoukou Valley Road in the Waimauku, Auckland region in New Zealand, lies the quaint winery called as The Hunting Lodge Winery. It is a New Zealand family owned winery and has a well-known history.
Following the love and passion for wine
The owner of this family owned winery Pete Turner found his love and passion for wine after a trip around Europe. Pete is proud to be a part of Auckland wine community. The only single philosophy that he brings to his wine making is that they should all be expressive and interesting, but never too challenging. Flickering between showcasing the very best of a sense of terroir and pushing the boundaries for an alternative spin, Pete believes that this is what makes winemaking so intriguing. After 15 years in the industry, The Hunting Lodge wines are making an undoubtable mark on the New Zealand wine scene.
