Award-Winning Wines from Strologo Sivano

Founded in 1960 by Giulio Sivano in Camerano, Ancona, Strologo Sivano winery has been a cornerstone of the Rosso Conero DOC protection consortium. Today, Giulio's son, Sivano, and his wife, Catia Schiarolli, continue the family legacy, enhancing fermentation techniques and producing refined, high-quality wines. For over five decades, this winery has consistently crafted some of the finest wines in the Marche region, earning numerous awards and accolades along the way.

Ideal Soil and Microclimate

Situated between the hills and the Adriatic Sea, Strologo Sivano benefits from a unique microclimate that nurtures its vineyards. The diverse soil composition, ranging from clay to limestone, supports the growth of high-quality, flavorful grapes. The winery cultivates 11 hectares of vineyards adjacent to Mount Conero and 4 hectares on its slopes, primarily growing Incrocio Bruni 54 and Montepulciano grapes. These varietals are used to produce a range of wines, including red, white, rosé, and sparkling options.

State-of-the-Art Winery Technology

Strologo Sivano winery is equipped with modern technology for both pre and post-fermentation processes. Controlled-temperature stainless steel tanks ensure optimal fermentation, while small wooden barrels are used for aging red wines, enhancing their aroma and structure. The Rosso Conero DOC wines produced here truly reflect the rich terroir of the region. Wine enthusiasts are welcome to visit the estate year-round for an enriching experience.

An afternoon that I will remember, Mr. Silvano's niece was thorough and kind in understanding all the historical and technical aspects of the cellar. I recommend it to everyone as an experience to share as a couple or in groups.

The tasting was good, Mr. Silvano and his wife were very welcoming and kind. We also purchased some wine at the end of the tasting. Excellent, if you happen to be in the area, give us a thought.

We didn't know this place even though we were from the area and my girlfriend and I discovered it thanks to a Smartbox gift box. We thank Micol for her kindness and professionalism with which she introduced us to the wines that are the protagonists of their historic winery, presented with great attention to detail and a lot of passion for their craft. We will definitely return to taste some excellent Marche wine again!
