Cantina Terracruda-A small family-run winery in Fratte Rosa

Cantina Terracruda is a small family-run winery in Fratte Rosa, a small village in the Pesaro and Urbino countryside. The company produces authentic and completely organic wine with local grapes and low environmental impact methods. The winemakers of Cantina Terracruda control the entire production from the vine to the bottle in compliance with the protection of the territory and the ancient vine varieties.

In the 20 hectares of vineyards, the grapes are carefully selected and hand-picked under the guidance of the oenologist Giancarlo Soverchia, guru of the rediscovery, protection and vinification of native grapes grown in purity.

Cellar with excellent wines

Cantina Terracruda produces excellent wines from only native vines from Bianchello del Metauro DOC, Colli Pesaresi Sangiovese DOC and Pergola Aleatico DOC grapes and from the recovery of ancient local vines that have almost completely disappeared such as Incrocio Bruni 54 and Garofanata. In 10 years the company has received numerous awards in local and international wine competitions such as Decanter and the International Wine Challenge in London, the Concours International des Vins à Lyon and the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles.

Winery winner of one of the most prestigious awards

In 2016, on the occasion of the 50th Edition of Vinitaly, Terracruda was awarded the “Angelo Betti, Benemeriti della Vitivinicoltura” prize by the President of the Italian Republic Sergio Mattarella.

This prestigious award is given to wineries that, through their professional or entrepreneurial activity, have contributed to and supported the qualitative progress of wine and oenological production in their region and their country.

Had an amazing tasting experience with the Itineris project. Luca was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and was very welcoming. The place is stunning, surrounded by beautiful hills. We tasted several types of wine produced by Terracruda, including their three versions of Bianchello, two ancient grapes Incrocio Bruni 54 & Garofanata, and their Spumanti. Would highly recommend a visit if in Le Marche.

A magnificent day, an experience that will become a splendid memory!!! The Terracruda winery is much more than a winery of very good organic wines. It is history, passion, innovation and tradition, research and a lot of culture, kindness and hospitality. We really felt at home, like old friends who were passing by to visit them, an experience that everyone should live! Zeno with his passion and his anecdotes, Luca and his stories and explanations and then his sweet mother... in short, an experience that I recommend to everyone!!! PS: You take home not only a bottle, but a real story, where every problem becomes an opportunity! ♥️

Wonderful experience at this family winery... we visited the vineyard and then the cellar where they explained the whole process from harvesting to bottling. The afternoon concluded with the "basic" tasting of five wines accompanied by plates of bruschetta, local cheeses and cold cuts. Totally organic production and very good value for money in my opinion, I definitely recommend a stop if you are in these parts. Reservation not mandatory but highly recommended.

A winery, a family, a story in the heart of the Marche, in a setting with a magical landscape, to say the least. It is always a great pleasure to spend hours in Luca's company and listen to his passion and the great work that goes into a bottle of good wine. A highly recommended visit!
