The Family Winery of Szászi Birtok

The Szászi Birtok Estate is one of the first certified organic vineyards in the country. We farm 18 hectares in the Badacsony wine region. Our areas are located on the southern slopes of St. George's Hill, Szigliget, Hajagos and Lesencetomaj.
Our philosophy is as simple as our relationship with the landscape: to create value and beauty, with maximum respect for our environment. That is why we are committed to organic farming and sustainable property development. Our goal is to tell this little corner of the world fluently by showing close-to-nature cultivation, the ethical use of the environment, and the use of traditional and modern winemaking technologies.

Pleasant service Well-presented, well-cooked dish A treat Too bad it closes so early At 8:30 p.m. we were informed that the kitchens were closed and therefore no dessert possible.

A fantastic place for a romantic lunch or dinner. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and it is safe to say that this is the main advantage of this place. The food is served in an impressive manner, but you feel the lack of courage to try it. You see various cooking techniques, many meals are tasty, but their full potential is not used. Some dishes have little flavour, so you have to use the salt and pepper shakers provided. A great selection of local dishes and very pleasant service, but looking at them from the side it seems that this pleasant attitude towards the customer is created a bit by force. Despite everything I give it full marks because it is really worth recommending.
