Founded in 2018, Trio Winery is nestled in the picturesque Badacsony wine region of Hungary, specifically on the scenic Hajagos-hill and Köves-hill near Csobánc. What began as a modest 0.5 hectares of vineyards has grown to encompass 5 hectares, allowing us to cultivate a diverse range of grape varieties.

Wine Making at Trio Winery

At Trio Winery, we pride ourselves on being a family-run establishment, with two generations actively participating in our daily operations. Our focus is on producing wines from locally bred grape varieties, including Rózsakő, Zeus, and Vulcanus. We also cultivate carefully selected clones of Olasz Rizling and Pinot Gris, both of which are renowned worldwide. Additionally, we produce Királyleányka, a unique variety from the Carpathian Basin, specifically Transylvania.

We hand-harvest our grapes to ensure the highest quality. Our fermentation process is reductive, and most of our wines undergo bottle maturation, which beautifully showcases the terroir of our region. We take pride in sharing our passion and philosophy through each bottle, inviting wine lovers to experience the true essence of Balaton.

I wanted to buy Badacsonyi Rózsakő wine. It's a specialty, not sold in many places. I called them on the way to see if that was possible. By the time I got to Diszel, they had come down from the vineyard and were waiting with smiles. The young man even told the story of the wine, he was very nice. Thanks!
