Tandem: A Winery with Purpose

Founded in 2003 by Alicia Eyaralar, Jose María Fraile, and a group of passionate wine enthusiasts, Tandem Winery embodies a commitment to quality and sustainability. The name "Tandem," meaning "together," reflects the unity of this dedicated team as they embarked on their winemaking journey. From the outset, they prioritized sustainable practices that showcase the natural beauty of Navarra, aiming to set a benchmark for quality in the region's Denomination of Origin.

Minimalist Philosophy

Tandem Winery embraces a minimalist approach, allowing nature to dictate the character of their wines. While employing modern winemaking techniques, they prioritize the preservation of their soil and environment. This philosophy ensures that each bottle reflects the unique conditions of the growing season, resulting in high-quality wines that are both distinctive and authentic.

Unique Microclimate

Situated in the Yerri Valley, Tandem benefits from a cool, windy, and fertile microclimate. The vineyards are dry-farmed, promoting healthy grape growth without the use of chemicals. This natural approach enhances the wines' elegance, freshness, and overall quality, allowing the rich biodiversity of the region to flourish.

Jose made it possible for us to visit the winery and taste his wines at very short notice. When you talk to him, you can feel his passion for fresh, fruity and exceptional red wines, which are made in a special production process with as little external manipulation as possible. While many red wines suffocate under the weight of wood, you can experience wine inspiration here.

Great professionals!!! Both José Mari and Alicia. Visit to a spectacular winery with a lot of tact and love and nothing to say about the product... Great wines in all price ranges. A pleasure!!!!!

A small winery full of innovation and tradition at the same time located in the middle of the Camino de Santiago that not only delights the eye but also the palate. We received a guided tour of this winery from Jose who transmitted to us his passion for wine and the land of the vine. After the tasting that he offered us, I can affirm that the white "Casual" or the red "in vitro" are two spectacular wines, with a fascinating quality/price ratio. All of this would not be possible without Alicia, their winemaker, who during our visit was watching the ripening of the grapes for the optimal harvest, a world for those of us who do not know the process. I can only congratulate you for your work and effort.
