A Charming Winery in the Heart of Monti delle Cesane Natural Park
Tenuta Ca' Sciampagne is a picturesque winery situated on the outskirts of Urbino, established in 2008. Nestled within the Monti delle Cesane Natural Park, the winery's vineyards thrive in a pristine environment. The grapes used for their wines are sourced exclusively from their own organically cultivated vineyards, ensuring a true expression of the land.
Organic Winemaking Practices
At Tenuta Ca' Sciampagne, the commitment to organic winemaking is evident. The winery produces wines naturally, without any additives. Fermentation occurs spontaneously using indigenous yeasts, and the wines are bottled by hand without clarification or filtration. This artisanal approach allows the wines to authentically reflect the unique terroir of the region.
Unique Terroir and Climate
The vineyards are located on an elevated slope, averaging 380 meters in altitude, with soils rich in clay, limestone, and minerals. This combination of climate and soil imparts distinctive aromas and flavors to the wines. The portfolio includes white wines like Simandro, Raphael, BelloRibelle, and Raicanuda, as well as red wines such as Guidobaldo and Sacradebucce. Additionally, they offer the rosé Zigara and ancestral wines like Spavengol and Revoluscion, along with limited classic vintages that undergo bottle refermentation.
