Tenuta L’Impostino, in a Calm and Natural Surrounding

Born on the top a hillside amphitheater, Tenuta L’Impostino is positioned in the Toscana region of Italy, with a south-west exposition. The winery covers a land of 52 hectares that dominates the lush vineyards and overlooking holm and oak forest. L’Impostino is a magical place that offers peace of mind to visitors with its calm and soothing surroundings.

Vines Grow on Gentle Slopes for the Possible Best Possible Maturation

Out of 52 hectares, 20 hectares of land is dedicated to vineyards, resting on the gentle slopes and olive groves are extended to an area of two hectares. The owner grows a wide range of grapes, including Sangiovese, Merlot, Sirah, Petit Verdot, Alicante, and Vermentino. Using these fruity vines, the winery produces exceptional quality red, white, and rose wines under the status of Toscana and Montecucco DOC regions. Also, a modernized cellar has been extended to an area of 2000 square meters, overlooking wooded valleys. It consists of large oak barrels and concrete tanks, placed in the underground barrel room, for proper aging of wines. The cellar of the winery also has stainless steel tanks and a truncated conical vat for effective fermentation.

Apartments Enclosed by the Winery

Furthermore, the estate flanks two farmsteads, embracing the hills of vineyards, traditionally transformed into apartments. These rooms are well-equipped with modern necessities of guests to make their stay more comfortable and memorable. Patrizia, the owner of the estate, has converted the old barn into a restaurant, resting on the top of the gentle hills. In the restaurant ofTenuta L’Impostino, along with their exceptional Toscana wines, you can savor many typical dishes made with Tuscan traditions.
