Created in 1948 with the intention of creating soul touching wines, Vina Los Boldos Winery was acquired by the Sogrape Group in 2008, only to have made it better.

Passionate History of the Winery

The year 1948 started off as a great year for the family when they planted their first vines and there was no turning back. The family knew this is what they wanted; this is where their passion lies. The winery only grew from there. After 43 years, in 1991, Vina Los Boldos Winery was established to produce quality high end wines that would reflect the terroirs of the Cachapoal Andes Valley and the tradition of winemaking in the family.

Vina Los Boldos Winery Continues Making Premium Wines and Continuing the Wine Legacy

The Winery makes excellent red wines, white wines, rose wins and sparkling wines. In 2008, Vina Los Boldos Winery was acquired by the Sogrape Group who are a very significant Portugese family. They have their own production presence and distribution in all the 7 continents in the world so this only meant more growth and progress for Vina Los Boldos Winery. Production in the winery was enhanced as the Sogrape Group set up a vast reform and invested in the vineyards and the bottling line to ensure high quality products at end.

Organic Wines With A Vision For The Future

In the region of Cachapoal Andes Valley, Vina Los Boldos Winery has settled comfortably across 180 hectares of property. The valley has great thermal amplitude and climatic conditions that show in the richness of their grapes. Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Carmenere, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc take nutrients from the slopes and the soil here. In 2014, Vina Los Boldos Winery was certified as a sustainable winery with their biodiverse environment and their organic wines.
