At Viña Laura Hartwig, we are dedicated to crafting exceptional wines that truly reflect their origins. Our family-run winery allows us to maintain a personal touch in every aspect of production, ensuring that quality is never compromised. We focus on building strong relationships with our commercial partners, distributing our wines to specialty stores, restaurants, and wine clubs, so that wine lovers can enjoy our creations.

Colchagua Valley Wine Route

In 1996, we helped establish the Colchagua Valley Wine Route with five other wineries to promote enotourism in the region. By 1999, we collaborated with leading wineries to form Viñas de Colchagua A.G., the first regional association dedicated to showcasing Colchagua as a premier wine-producing area. Today, the Colchagua Valley is celebrated not only for its outstanding wines but also as a top destination for wine enthusiasts. In 2005, Wine Enthusiast magazine recognized Colchagua as the “Best Wine Region of the Year.”

Viña Laura Hartwig: A Gem in Colchagua Valley

The climate of Colchagua Valley plays a crucial role in producing high-quality wines. With its Mediterranean climate featuring four distinct seasons, the valley benefits from low humidity and the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean's Humboldt Current. Additionally, the winds from the Andes Mountains create ideal conditions for grape cultivation, allowing us to produce wines that are rich in flavor and character.

We took the morning tour at this winery and found it an excellent tour. It is walking distance from town, an interesting history, reasonably priced and excellent wine. Our tour guide Valeria was excellent. Her english was very good, she was able to expain the history, the process and the growing steps clearly. After we enjoyed our 3 tastings with some charcuterie pairing.

A very pleasant visit. The staff were attentive and very competent in explaining all the stages of the production process. The wines are very good, have very attractive prices and the tasting is accompanied by a delicious cold cuts platter. It is well worth a visit.

Everything comes together here to have a great time: an exceptional ambience, a warm welcome and very good wines. The visit was very extensive and we learned a lot about the family, the winery and Chilean wines. Many thanks to Valeria for her kindness and this fascinating 1:30 hour visit.

Excellent wine tourism experience for family or friends. Entry is free and you can easily order wines by the glass and have a picnic. They also offer several paid tours which are excellent. The attention is great. They speak in 3 languages es/en/br. I'm glad these spaces are open to the community. Great wines and the store has great prices

A very pleasant and very informative moment, I was alone and I did not pay extra, the wines are very good, the welcome also thanks to Valeria who knew how to adapt to my approximate Spanish.

A welcoming vineyard where they explain the history and original viticulture. We were guided by Valeria, who was very knowledgeable and kind. An excellent place to decant wines and enjoy a family farm. They have pizzas, a wine boutique and boards.

Wonderful experience! We do the premium tour where you learn all about the history of the vineyard. Valeria, who attended us, was very friendly and educational in her explanations. The vineyard is beautiful, it is definitely recommended to have lunch here because they make pizzas from the clay oven.
