At 100Igual, every bottle tells a story of passion and craftsmanship.

The Significance of 100Igual

100Igual translates to "without equal," reflecting the winery's commitment to producing distinctive Vinho Verde wines. By focusing on local grape varieties, 100Igual stands out in a crowded market. Their wines are crafted from a unique blend of Arinto and Azal grapes, offering a refreshing alternative to mainstream options.

A Legacy of Winemaking

With a winemaking heritage dating back to the 18th century, the family behind 100Igual possesses deep knowledge and expertise in viticulture. Their dedication to Vinho Verde is evident, with the first vintage of 100Igual released in 2012, showcasing their commitment to quality and tradition.

Ideal Terroir for Exceptional Grapes

Situated in the heart of the Vinho Verde region, 100Igual's 10 hectares of vineyards are perfectly suited for growing Arinto, Azal, Touriga Nacional, Baga, Vinhao, and Alvarinho. The granite and gravel soils contribute to the grapes' high acidity and long, persistent finish, resulting in wines that are both vibrant and memorable.

Fantastic experience! We did not have an appointment and we're still graciously received and we greatly enjoyed our improvised tasting. Can not more highly recommend!

Excellent experience in wine tourism! The wines are very expressive of the terroir, the wine is light and the producers Leila and João have excellent tastes. Definitively it's about regress!

We first tasted wines of Sem Igual on small wine festival of Vinho Verde wines. Later this February, they presented wines on the Simplisemente Vinho wine fair. We immediately fell in love with their brand, Sem Mal and decided visit the winery few days ago. It is one thing when you just taste wines and totally different when you see how kych work, passion, and dedication of the family goes into each bottle of wine! Very kind and accommodating hosts and amazing atmosphere! Will definitely return back with friends again! Thank you 😊
