The experience was simply exquisite! Everything from the unique wines to the delicious homey food they served us and the courtesy with which they received us last minute!! The vineyard is really well located and the installations are well maintained. We were really enchanted by the couples service and kindness. Recommend 10/10. (My favourite service food wise was the smoked sausage with quail egg 😋)

Wow! What a beautiful unexpected visit. We booked at the last minute and were very happy to have had the opportunity to join Sylvie our guide. Very interesting and informative. Not to mention the wines which were all delicious and different. We let down our barriers on the 'vinos verdes'. Very nice succession for the future of this young vineyard. We wish them much success. Thank you very much Sylvie for this beautiful meeting and discoveries.

We arrived at the winery by motorbike without an appointment. The owner greeted us very kindly and, with great regret, told us that he could not give us the tour because he was fully booked. He explained the programme to us in detail and rescheduled us for another date. Surprisingly, as compensation, he gave us a bottle of his vintage and it was really thoughtful. We hope to return soon.

A truly wonderful afternoon spent at Sapateiro vineyard. On arrival we were warmly greeted by our hosts Tiago and Silvi. Tiago explained the vineyards history/story and the wines that they offer. We were then shown the winery and provided with information about how the wines are produced, you could see how passionate and knowledgeable Tiago is. The tasting is done on the balcony of his family home and we sat overlooking the vineyard, a beautiful property with a stunning view! We opted for the full tapas pairing with the wine tasting and all I can say is wow! Each wine has been carefully paired with each course for the ultimate tasting experience. The food was simply delicious and Silvi is a remarkable cook. For us the highlight was how much attention to detail Tiago and Silvi have put into this experience, everything has been careful thought out. We had such an unforgettable time and we highly recommend! Obrigado Tiago & Silvi 🙏❤️

Very good experience. We called in the morning to check if they had room and the experience was very good. Very familiar vineyards and they were charming and very attentive with the explanations. 100% recommendable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the winery, tasting and the tour. The location is stunning, and Tiago's hospitality made it even more memorable. He shared fascinating stories about the wine-making process and the beginnings of their business.

For wine lovers, this is a must-visit place! The experience becomes even better because you first learn about all the processes and history of the winery and then get to know it in practice by tasting the super well-made wines accompanied by cold cuts or foods that pair perfectly!

I always get a little nervous when I have to do an 'experience' somewhere. Usually it's just another rehashed story, without soul, without enthusiasm. But Silvi made an extremely passionate impression right away. What an impressive story of a shoemaker who started making wine in a region with a bad reputation and now of a young couple who dare to color outside the box and take Vinho Verde to an unprecedented level. Keep up the good work Silvi and Tiago! And yes, you shouldn't miss the tasting if you're in the region. Just ignore the Douro. This is much nicer!

We've done wine tasting all over the world and none of them came close to this one! The winery has a beautiful history of how it started and got off the ground and how it came to its name Sapateiro! The cheese platter was THE BEST cheese platter we've ever had and the way it paired so amazingly with the wines was extraordinary. I've never really appreciated how wine and meat and cheese can compliment each other and increase each others flavour until this. It's really inspired our cheese platters for the future! And then there's the wines themselves which were amazing, including reds, whites and rosés. The rosé has this beautiful feature to it which I've only ever seen in whites from Austria before called effervescence, the slightest hint of bubbles, so faint you can barely notice it but it makes the wine taste so fresh!! If you're ANYWHERE in the region please visit this place!

The lunchtime wine tasting with tapas is a highlight of our Portugal trip. Five wines are served with matching tapas. The interplay between wine and food is excellent and creates a great experience.

We had a great time with Tiago and Silvi, after an explanatory tour of the history of their estate we had the tasting with tapas and it was just great! We had a great view, everything was delicious it was really a great experience! They were at our side to explain the wine and we were separated from the other group who did the tour with us, it was very intimate! Very human and very welcoming people, I recommend 100% !!

The tasting was wonderful. Tiago enriched us with his knowledge and passion for new things and Silvi enchanted our day with her wonderful cooking. An experience that is highly recommended. There were 4 adults and 2 children. We were all looked after equally, in an age-appropriate and loving manner. The children were given their own meal with healthy home-grown fruit and nuggets and chips. We were served great Portuguese food ♥️ If you are in the area, you should not miss a visit to Sapateiro.

Great time spent at Tiago's vineyard! He started by explaining the history of the estate, the making of wine and its particularities! He took the time to answer all our questions. This was followed by a wine tasting with tapas with a magnificent view of the estate and the region! It was delicious! In addition, they adapted the tapas by making them 100% vegetarian for me. Tiago and his wife regularly came to see us to chat! It was incredible! I recommend 1000%! Thank you for this unforgettable afternoon and your warm welcome! We will definitely be back!

Had the best time in this charming boutique winery and could not recommend it enough! Tiago and his family hosted us for wine tasting & tapas tasting with dreamy views to their vineyard - one of the most unique experiences we’ve had! Each wine was incredible with an amazing traditional Portuguese tapas!

Highly recommended! We loved the wine tasting, very good quality wines (which they make themselves) and the accompaniment of cheeses and nuts was very abundant and carefully prepared. Tiago is an exemplary host, who makes you feel welcome in his home and shares his passion for his work. The views are impressive. Really, it's worth it!

The wine tasting at Sapateiro was wonderful! We were given a warm welcome and fantastic service. There is a very varied selection of wines. Tiago and his girlfriend took a lot of time and we felt completely at ease. I would highly recommend a tasting at Sapateiro to anyone!

We were very well received by Tiago and Silvi, and the wine tasting was very interesting - each wine was accompanied by a typical Portuguese snack, which went very well together. Highly recommended! I highly recommend visiting Sapateiro! It was a super pleasant experience, just a 1-hour drive from Porto. Three childhood friends who hadn’t seen each other for years got together; going to this wine tasting together provided us with unforgettable moments and we left with new knowledge, which is always good! Tiago and Silvi were super friendly and answered any questions or curiosities we had. What’s more, it was an even more appealing experience because the wine tasting was accompanied by typical Portuguese snacks, carefully designed to pair with each wine. We went to the Sapateiro winery for a tasting and it was wonderful, warm and very informative. The wines served were accompanied by small regional delicacies that were very tasty. I can only recommend a visit! :-)

The time we spent is memorable! The setting is magnificent 😍. Walk in the vineyards with explanation on the history of wine and vines and finally how the different wines are made (white, red, rosé), everything is really interesting and well told! Then comes the wine tasting with tapas and there everything goes very well together each wine is accompanied by specific tapas, just excellent! Visit to the farm and winery with wine tasting accompanied by snacks. It is necessary to call or book in advance as it only works by appointment. Excellent reception and explanation about Vinho Verde by the owners. Everything was great and we took a few bottles of wine with us. I recommend it!

Very nice family winery where you can/will definitely learn about Vinho Verde. Great wine experience and wine tasting.
