The Agricola Tamburini farm covers a total of 50 hectares, all located in the heart of Chianti production country in the Tuscan hills of the province of Florence. Since 2002, an agronomic and technological remodelling has been taking place on the Agricola Tamburini estate. So far this remodelling has involved 25 hectares of vines and 1000 olive trees.
The remodelling and the focus on the production of high quality wines has lead to Agricola Tamburini’s increased presence in Italian and international wine markets.
High-Quality Products
The product mix of the farm has become well known for the use of high quality raw materials, while never losing right of the traditional characteristics of Tuscany. The Agricola Tamburini approach is to find ways to maximise the highest quality in each phase of the wine production process. In achieving this, the grapes are cultivated according to a low yield per hectare philosophy, with the entire process overseen by rigorous quality control methods. These methods have been designed to meet the production protocols for Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino wines. The grape varietals grown on the farm are Sangiovese, Merlot and Malvasia.
