We had the biggest apartment for 6 people, Oleander. Very nice big hall. Downstairs a big bedroom with bathroom. Upstairs there are 2 big bedrooms, 1 with air conditioning. And an extra bathroom. Spacious living room and kitchen. Outdoor terrace with great views and sunset. They have their own wines and olive oil. Nice swimming pool. The only downside is that you are a bit far from the village and can't get there on foot. Super nice host. Definitely recommended for a stay in Tuscany

Best place to discover the Chianti region.

Very nice place, ideally located halfway between Siena, Florence and Pisa. Quiet with a wonderful view of the Chianti hills. Guaranteed change of scenery. Pleasant apartments. Perfect bedding. Catrina is friendly. Small minus points: it lacks a small microwave and an extra shelf in the bathroom. Otherwise, “la Viola” is charming for 4 people during a week's stay in Tuscany. I recommend.

Beautiful, peaceful location in the Tuscan hills of the Chianti region. On a working organic vineyard. The produce is available to buy and tastes great. Lovely rustic cottages and apartments, most with amazing views across the valley which will take your breath away. I can't speak highly enough of the place and really don't want anyone else to go so that it is always available for me! Ps .. car hire is essential if you want to explore the area.

We recently spent two weeks in Sugame with our friends Catriona and Lorenzo Miceli and their three children. We already knew the "Borgo" after having spent our holidays there in 2000 and 2001. We also already knew our apartment "La Rosa". Everything was in perfect condition, the apartment was large enough at 96 square metres and was furnished with lots of love and taste. The location is unbeatable, at an altitude of around 500 metres, surrounded by vineyards and olive trees with a view of the Tuscan hills that you see on postcards. You can reach the town of Greve by car in 10 minutes and you can be in Florence, Siena, Arezzo and many other Tuscan towns within 45 minutes. In our opinion, the small towns of Radda (30 minutes), Volpaia (45 minutes), Panzano (15 minutes) and Gaiole (20 minutes) are particularly special. If you just want to relax, you can go to the large and clean pool, just a few meters from the three residential buildings. And you can get the wine produced by Lorenzo in the cantina, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Other drinks and food can be bought in a nearby supermarket or you can go to one of the wonderful restaurants, the nearest just 400 meters away. In addition to the location and cleanliness, the family is the main factor. Catriona looks after the guest apartments and the well-being of the guests and Lorenzo manages the farm. He mainly produces wine, olive oil and honey. Catriona is everywhere at the same time and Lorenzo can be found in the vineyard or in his cantina. From Frankfurt aM you can drive to Sugame via Fernpass, Reschen or Brenner in about 11 hours. During rush hours - at least if you are of advanced age - you are well advised to fly (1h 35 min to Florence or Pisa), or to stop overnight at Lake Garda, Merano or Innsbruck, for example. Conclusion: Highest score for hospitality, location, furnishings, cleanliness and relaxation value. We'll go back.
