Three men behind Asolo Manor
The Asolo Manor Societa wine company is a story of three men: Giuseppe, Walter, and Ruggero, who united their philosophies in winemaking to showcase their affection for the region and make wines in the Asolo region. The passion comes from a love for the land, their peasant past, history, and culture of the place. The ambitious winery aims at making Figlio Della Roccia – Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG wines with organic and biological techniques.
Rich terroir of Asolo
Located in the high hills of Asolo, the terroir is characterized by a strong rocky matrix of conglomerate, with some marly-calcareous rock banks. The calcareous matrix on the ground is pronounced, but it is very draining due to the steep slope and the low percentage of clay. The outcropping conglomerate significantly conditions the vine to deepen the root system to retrieve water and vital elements, a constriction that will be significant in bringing to the wine aromas and decisive sapidity.
The winery celebrates culture and tradition
Perera, Bianchetta, and Glera are the main grapes grown in their vineyards to make top quality wines. The company works hard to make the best wines while protecting the health of their vines and the biodiversity of the region. There is a lot of respect and love for nature and the stunning beauty of the region. Asolo is a historical place, and the 12th century Rocca di Asolo fortress is an example of the area’s history and culture. Head over to the winery to indulge in quality wines along with typical local food of the area.
