Welcome to Casanuova di Ama, nestled in the picturesque Chianti Classico region, within the charming hills of Ama in Gaiole in Chianti.

Our Estate

Perched at an elevation of 550 meters, our estate spans 15 hectares, featuring 5 hectares of vineyards, 5 hectares of olive groves, and 5 hectares of lush forest. This diverse landscape surrounds our historic farm buildings, creating a serene environment for both wine and olive oil production.

Our Story

Our journey began in 1984 when we completed the restoration of our buildings and planted new vineyards. That year, we proudly bottled our first wines, known as Fiaschi, which are traditional bottles wrapped in straw.

Since then, our small farm has steadily grown, fueled by our dedication and love for the land. We produce a range of products, including Vinsanto, extra virgin olive oil, and Grappa, all crafted with care.

To enhance our winemaking process, we have partnered with oenologist Yuri Bencini, who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our philosophy of quality and tradition.

Daniela and Christina spoiled us again with a wonderful menu. It's always nice to come here and enjoy. The trunk is full of wine, oil and grappa. Until next time. Rainer and Renate

We made a reservation for lunch the day before. We had a great wine tasting experience with a plentiful meal. The order of the wines and the explanations were very well coordinated and informative. The hostess is the second generation to run a small family business with heart and soul. The food was largely home-made. Thank you for your hospitality and we will definitely come back, at least to buy wine...

Together with a group of friends we wanted to visit a typical Italian vineyard. After doing some research on the internet, I found this one. It had very good reviews. The road from Siena was very narrow and winding, but it was worth it. We didn't have an appointment, but the owner welcomed us very well. He told us about the whole process of wine making, there was tasting and finally we bought it. A very nice experience. I recommend this vineyard to everyone, but it is best to make an appointment in advance. In addition to good wine, I also recommend very good olive oil.

Very kind and knowledgeable staff, complete and detailed explanation, all combined with excellent food and local products. Our tasting included a sparkling wine, a white and 4 reds (of the various types of Chianti). To accompany, a bruschetta with cherry tomatoes seasoned with their own oil, vegetarian appetizers, a plate of pasta with ragù, a platter of cold cuts and pecorino. To conclude, a good dessert together with vin santo! Excellent location, very beautiful view... I will be back very willingly!
