Lonardi Farm and Winery: A Family Tradition
Set against the picturesque Morainic hills of Garda, Lonardi Farm and Winery is a charming family-owned establishment in the Verona wine region. This boutique winery specializes in both bulk and bottled wines, complemented by the production of honey and liqueurs. The Lonardi family has been dedicated to beekeeping and winemaking for generations, ensuring that these traditional practices thrive.
Where Tradition Meets Innovation
The winery's history began when great-grandfather Mario acquired land in Palazzolo di Sona after selling the family estate in Castelnuovo del Garda. His sons, Igino and Franco, planted grapes to create wines for local markets. Under Igino's leadership, the winery expanded, and his son Fabio further developed the estate by introducing large-scale honey production. Today, Maurizio and Fabio have modernized the winery, including the construction of a new cellar and the introduction of liqueur production in 2013.
Ideal Conditions for Exceptional Grapes
The vineyards, located in Sona and Castelnuovo del Garda, are home to a diverse selection of grapes, including Corvina, Rondinella, Corvinone, and Merlot. Additionally, the estate cultivates fruity varieties such as Garganega, Fernanda, Chardonnay, and Incrocio Manzoni. After handpicking the grapes, the winery produces a range of high-quality wines, including red, white, rosé, dessert, and sparkling options.

Small company managed by father Fabio and son Maurizio, special wine, with unique grappas, delicious honey, I recommend that if you pass through those parts to stop because it's worth it.

Small farm where DOC wines and honey are produced at an artisanal level. All the wines are excellent, especially the white and black dessert wines. The honey and royal jelly are exceptional. The owners are fantastic people, helpful and caring.

Top farm, once you enter you feel like family, the products are excellent from wine to grappa from honey to derivatives and I would say hazelnuts and I would say honey with peanuts and every product. Excellent wine that the owners will also let you taste so as not to leave anything to chance. Vote 10
