A family Run Boutique Winery

The Manara winery was established in 1950 in San Floriano and the owners have been running it for three generations, maintaining local wine-making traditions with growing experience, passion, and a strong bond with the Valpolicella Classico region. The estate stretches over 11 hectares in the districts of San Pietro in Cariano, Negrar, and Marano di Valpolicella.

Winery that Bonds with the Land

They start by separating the grapes from each harvest zone of the vineyards. Vinifying is also done separately respective to the harvest zones. This process allows them to give the characteristics of the terroir into recognizable wines. They take the vine growing cycle as their calendar and their deadlines are defined by nature. The grapes ripen slowly with the pace of the seasons which they monitor frequently. They produce top quality Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, Molinara, and other minor varieties of grapes. Only the best go for further winemaking which eventually gets reflected in their wines.

The Manara family handles the entire production chain from managing vineyards to bottling the wines and this has allowed them to have full control over the quality of their wines. The progressive development and growth of the winery is due to the constant attention to the entire production process, from the vineyards to marketing, setting goals to obtain quality wines, and maintaining their standards.
