A Family-Run Boutique Winery

Established in 1950 in San Floriano, Azienda Agricola Manara is a cherished family-owned winery that has been passed down through three generations. With a deep-rooted connection to the Valpolicella Classico region, the Manara family upholds traditional winemaking practices while infusing their passion and expertise into every bottle. The estate spans 11 hectares across the picturesque districts of San Pietro in Cariano, Negrar, and Marano di Valpolicella.

Wines That Reflect the Terroir

At Manara, each grape harvest is meticulously separated by vineyard zone, allowing for distinct vinification processes that highlight the unique characteristics of the terroir. The family follows the natural rhythms of the vine growing cycle, ensuring that grapes ripen slowly and evenly throughout the seasons. They cultivate premium varieties such as Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella, and Molinara, selecting only the finest grapes for winemaking, which is evident in the quality of their wines.

Quality Control from Vineyard to Bottle

The Manara family oversees every aspect of production, from vineyard management to bottling, ensuring exceptional quality at every stage. Their commitment to maintaining high standards and attention to detail has fueled the winery's growth and success. Visitors are always welcome to tour the winery and vineyards, gaining insight into the passion and authenticity that define their winemaking process.

The family business gives the feeling of being at home, where they pamper you with tastings of more than excellent wines. Wines produced with selected grapes from their vineyards, so the result can only be high quality wine.

A delightful experience tasting wines in this intimate, family-run winery. After visiting two other large-scale producers in the area, there is a clear difference in the wines of Manara: incredible high quality, special flavors, and all labels are produced with love and appreciation for the wine, environment and consumer. Their prices are quite fair and worth it, and I would encourage anyone reading this to begin your tour of the Valpolicella region here. Many thanks for the warm welcome from Riccardo and family!

A lovely family-run winery. We visited this place as it's easily reachable by public transport from Verona. We had a nice short guided tour of the winery and also a wonderful wine tasting afterwards! We really liked the wines and ended up ordering some cases. The price was also quite reasonable.

Guido Manara a wine out of scale. The first vintage drunk was 2003. Since then never missed a vintage. Not to be missed. Excellent Cellar, excellent winemakers.
