Son Juliana Winery, on the Serene Island of Mallorca

Son Juliana Winery is beautifully situated in the magnificent town of Santa Eugenia and Binali on the charming island of Mallorca in Spain. With the highest compassion in winemaking, the company produces delectable wines that express the characteristics of the terroir in which they are grown.
Son Juliana Winery was established in 2013 by a team of expert winemakers to create wines from a plethora of grape varieties.
The estate – Son Juliana, was established in the year 2013 by a team of expert winemakers. The architecture of the estate is inspired by its lush countryside which is based on three main aspects – production, location, and weather. The wine cellar is located in the east of the winery where perfect temperature conditions for fermentation and aging of wines exist. They produce high-quality red, white, and rosé wines from the grapes of their local island vineyards.

Seven Hectares of Vineyards with Many International and Local Varieties

Covering a land of seven hectares, the vineyards at Son Juliana Winery face east which provides a perfect microclimate for vines to grow. The estate cultivates a variety of grapes, including Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. The winery also focuses on the cultivation of many other indigenous grapes, such as Prensal, Giró Ros, Moscatell, Manto Negro, and Callet.

Renewable Energy Sources and Interesting Architecture at the Winery

In the modern cellar of Son Juliana Winery, all wine production processes are based on state-of-the-art technology. These processes run on self-generated electricity from solar and wind power plants, respecting nature. Moreover, for ripening and maturation, the winery team uses French and American oak barrels. Besides, the walls of the underground cellar are made up of Gabion stone, which protects the wines from the excessive summer heat. The architecture of the winery and cellar is worth a visit as the aesthetic and purpose of the space is quite stunning.
