Located on the beautiful island of Mallorca, Vinyes Mortitx is a winery born from the passion of a group of wine enthusiasts in 2001. Their mission is to produce the finest wines on the island, and today, the winery boasts a dedicated team of 53 members committed to this goal.
With 19 hectares of vineyards, Vinyes Mortitx produces around 100,000 bottles of wine each year.
Diverse Grape Varieties Thriving in Unique Conditions
The vineyards at Vinyes Mortitx are truly remarkable, situated in a stunning landscape at 400 meters above sea level and just one kilometer from the sea. This unique location creates a microclimate that is ideal for grape cultivation. The winery grows a variety of grapes, including Malvasia, Chardonnay, Muscat, Riesling, and Syrah. Their modern facility, established in 2005, allows for meticulous winemaking processes, resulting in high-quality red, white, rosé, and dessert wines.

I was hiking along the Camí de ses Basses and you have to pass by the Mortitx public estate. When I was finishing the hike, the shop was open and I bought two bottles of wine. You can pay by credit card.

I’ve stopped there to enjoy a glass of wine and the scenery on my return from Sa Calobra. I was only 10-12km away from Pollença on a downhill slope, so I didn’t mind stopping there for a while. Prices are quite reasonable. You can buy wine by the glass and if you buy the bottle, your tasting is offered. Really enjoyed their rose!

We went without any pretensions to have a Mallorcan wine. From there everything went "in crescendo", the place where the winery is located is unbeatable, the young man who served us could not be a better person. We tried the wines and both the Roble and the Syrah were very tasty, to which we add that we drank it on the terrace of the shop which made the experience wonderful. He also told us about a restaurant in Lluc (Ca s'Amitger) where we had a phenomenal meal. All 5 stars.

A winery in a privileged setting in the heart of the Tramontana mountain range. The visit to the vineyards and the tasting accompanied by local products were excellent. Francés's (Chisco) conversation was the best. Don't hesitate to visit him.
