Founded in 1931 by José L. Ferrer at just 28 years old, the winery has been a pioneer in Mallorca's wine scene. Originally named Vinícola de Binissalem, it introduced innovative grape farming techniques, bottling methods, and aging processes in oak barrels. Today, the winery is managed by the fourth generation, including José L. Roses and his children, María and Pepe. They continue to honor their great-grandfather's legacy by using traditional viticulture methods to cultivate a variety of grapes, including Mantonegro, Callet, Moll, Cabernet-Sauvignon, Moscatel, Syrah, Chardonnay, and Tempranillo.
Bodegas José L. Ferrer offers several picturesque locations for hosting special events, including weddings, business meetings, and private celebrations. Our experience with Sandra Moll has been absolutely exceptional. As a guide, she has given us a detailed and fascinating explanation of the fascinating process of winemaking. Great place with skilled staff (fluent in both English and German) that knows a lot about the products and take their time to guide you through the variety of wines they have. The wines themselves are amazing!

I had my wedding welcome event here in May 2024 and it was absolutely perfect. All my guests were impressed with the winery tour, the courtyard, and the ambiance of the entire evening. Ania was my planner and she was so helpful and brought my dreams to life. Yvonne hosted our winery tour and she was so informative and entertaining. They also helped us organize a Spanish guitarist, hiring Kiki the paella master, and set up a beautiful table setting. The team worked with me to print custom labels to put on their wine to give out as wedding favors and they were also able to make me a custom welcome night sign. Thank you so much to the Jose L. Ferrer team! Highly recommend going for a day tour or planning your special event here!
