The Passionate Winery of Bodegas Canopy

Located between Madrid and Toledo, Bodegas Canopy is a vibrant winery that boasts vineyards at altitudes of 575 to 875 meters above sea level, nestled at the southern foothills of Sierra de Gredos. Founded in 2003 by friends Belarmino and Alfonso, the winery began its journey with the discovery of old Grenache grapevines near Syrah plantations. They also stumbled upon a rare White Grenache vine plantation, one of the few remaining in Spain. In 2018, Lorena joined their small but dedicated team, enhancing their collective passion for winemaking.

The unique microclimate and silicon granite soils contribute to the distinct character of their Grenache and Syrah vines, allowing the grapes to express their true potential.
