Pagos De Familia Vega Tolosa is a charming family-owned winery located in the La Manchuela Denomination of Origin (DOC). Established in 1929, this winery has been passed down through five generations. In 1998, the family built a modern facility designed to produce high-quality wines on a larger scale for both local and international markets. With approximately 250 hectares of century-old vineyards, they focus on low yields to ensure the highest quality grapes. The younger generation, including Juan Miguel's daughter Mariluz, actively participates in the winery, continuing the family tradition.
The vineyards at Vega Tolosa are certified organic, reflecting their commitment to sustainable farming. The continental climate, characterized by cool winds, allows grapes to mature slowly, enhancing their flavor profiles. The soil, rich in clay and limestone, contributes to the production of exceptional wines.
All agricultural and production methods are organic, promoting environmental preservation and vine health.
The winery cultivates several grape varieties, including Bobal, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Syrah, Merlot, Macabeo, Chardonnay, Viognier, and Verdejo. These grapes are used to create their renowned red, white, and rosé wines.
The state-of-the-art winery features advanced technology and equipment essential for winemaking. It includes dedicated spaces for production, bottling, and a cellar housing 250 barrels for aging wines. The tasting room welcomes guests to sample their organic white wine, which boasts tropical aromas and fruity flavors, while the rosé offers intense raspberry notes and a refreshing, balanced taste.

Write a reviewWe are delighted with the visit to the Vega Tolosa winery The Tolosa family opened the door to their house and after explaining to us the different processes used to make their wines, they offered us a tasting of some wines as well as a delicious sample of local sausages and cheeses. During the visit we really enjoyed the kindness and good humor of Juan Miguel Tolosa. You can also bring your pet on request. At the end, a bottle of wine was raffled off among all participants.

They gave us this tasting thanks to the Xup Hotels accommodation. It was a great discovery and surprise for our palates since I don't like wine 🍷 I left there buying a few bottles to enjoy at home and I moved to that moment of the tasting with the company of the owners (their entire family) showing you with all his affection his most precious legacy 🍇

A phenomenal experience. Very warm, friendly people, very complete and well explained tour without rushing. Tasting in a cozy atmosphere with good and useful explanations for both connoisseurs and novices. Affordable sales prices and product presentation and, above all, the organic quality raw material, which is the best. Highly recommended. We will surely return with other people who can live the experience

Vega Tolosa Experience 10/10 👏🏽 My partner and I enjoyed the very well organized trip to the vineyards, a delicious lunch in the countryside, a guided tour of the wineries where the whole wine process was explained, the incredible wine tasting and accompanying aperitif. A great family, they are a great team! We will be back 🫶
