Bodegas Fernandez is a winery located in the Spanish winegrowing region of Jumilla. Founded in 1920, the third generation of the Fernandez Family currently manages the estate. The first vintage production took place at La Jimena before moving the facility to Jumilla in 1946. In 1974, the winery moved onto Murcia Avenue with a modern facility and all the machinery required to produce high-quality wines.

Bodegas Fernandez markets its wine under the names of Campolargo, Perla Real, Escudo de Plata, Vega Jimena, and Campoclaro. They export wines all over the world, including the United States, Canada, China, and Switzerland. The harvesting of grapes takes place every year, usually throughout September and October. The main grape varieties used in their wines include Monastrell, Merlot, Syrah, Garnacha, Airen, and Tempranillo. The best quality grapes go into the production of their high-quality red, white, and rosé wines.
800 Oak Barrels in the Cellar for the Aging of Wines
Bodegas Fernandez Winery regularly works to modernize its facilities. In their second facility, a bottling plant is present which allows for a high bottling capacity. Their third facility has a wine cellar underground that has 800 oak barrels for the aging of wine. Stainless steel tanks increase the production capacity and ensure that the wines have a pleasant fragrance and taste.
