After completing his training as an oenologist in 1994, Óscar Tobía dreamt about establishing his own winery. Later in 2004, he, along with Ana Castelló, built Bodegas Tobía. The grandparents of Óscar were also winemakers San Asensio, near Las Cuevas. Today, following the footsteps of his ancestors, the owner is producing luscious wines under the D.O.Ca. Rioja status. The kinds of wines the estate produces are delicious red and white wines, in combination with high-quality rose wines.
