Welcome to Cantina Tomisa, a family-run winery nestled in the picturesque province of Bologna. As proud members of FIVI, the Italian association of independent winegrowers, we are committed to organic practices that honor our land and its heritage.
Situated on the scenic Colli Bolognesi hills, our vineyards thrive in the heart of Emilia-Romagna, home to the native Grechetto Gentile grape. This often-overlooked appellation holds immense potential, offering delightful surprises for wine enthusiasts.
At Cantina Tomisa, we prioritize the unique characteristics of our territory and grape varieties. Our goal is to produce wines that truly reflect the quality of our hills, showcasing the rich flavors and aromas that define our region.
Our family has been tending to these vineyards since the late 1990s. Initially, we sold our grapes to a local cooperative winery, but over time, we built our own winery to craft wines that represent our vision and dedication.
We produce a diverse range of wines, including white, rosé, and red varieties, both still and sparkling. All our wines are made exclusively from organic grapes grown on our estate, featuring beloved varieties such as Grechetto Gentile, Chardonnay, Barbera, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon.

They even offered us vegan side dishes with the wines even though we only said that we were vegan when we arrived. Would highly recommend to anyone!

An unforgettable experience! We visited this family-run wine farm for a wine tasting it was truly amazing. The hospitality was warm and genuine, the setting was beautiful, and the selection of wines was the best. We were treated to delicious local food that paired perfectly with each glass. A beautiful winery that produces and sells wines bottled directly at their source in the Badessa Gorges. The wines are excellent and all organic. We were welcomed with utmost helpfulness and courtesy by the owners and strolled through the vineyards along panoramic paths overlooking the Idice Valley.
