The establishment of Cantina Puianello dates to 1938 when five men came together to start a wine business. Over the years, new families joined, and their successive generations have kept the project alive. Cantina Puianello has been providing quality wines for more than 80 years to the market from Quattro Castella, at the heart of the region of Lambrusco in Italy.
Taste Sparkling Wine from Autochthonous Varieties in Lombardy
This social winery has been using grapes collected only from the member family vineyards around the hills to make their wines. They pride themselves on using only grapes of the highest standard. They grow common Lambrusco varieties and Ancellotta. They have also been producing wines made from historical grapes from the foothills around the area, such as Lamburschi Montericco and Barghi. Other sparkling wines are also made from white grapes such as Spergola and Malvasia. The Cantina Puianello Winery has a wide assortment of still and sparkling wines, both dry and sweet to delight your senses. The exceptional standards followed by Cantina Puianello have garnered their best wines with the geographical indication of Reggiano DOC, Colli di Scandiano e Canossa DOC, and Lambrusco Emilia IGT. Other than the wines, Cantina Puianello Winery also produces and sells grappa and balsamic vinegar.
