Cantina Valetti: A Family Winery with Stunning Views

On the occasion of a weekend in Bardolino, on Lake Garda, with the family, I thought of tasting local wines. The choice of Cantina Valetti could not have been more successful. Very interesting experience, friendly staff and undoubtedly excellent wines. Recommended!!!

Excellent wines! The tasting and tour costs €20 but it is well worth it because it allows you to discover the wines offered and their history. The winemaker is very friendly and opened a tour and tasting especially for us. Grazie mille!

Welcoming staff, you can taste before you buy and there is a beautiful panoramic view from the rooftop terrace. And good wines.

A beautiful reality, family winery, excellent tasting... absolutely worth trying. We also bought a few bottles and I really don't regret it! Well done, the passion for your land always pays off.

Excellent tasting, very interesting wines and helpful and friendly owner!

An impressively modern winery. A second generation family business. We were allowed to try all the wines, no influence or pressure. Even if you preferred the cheaper wine, you were given a friendly explanation of the wine's properties. We then spontaneously bought wine for home. Red, rose, rose spumante (very, very tasty) and the "good" grappa is highly recommended. Full-bodied, strong without being too bitter. On our next vacation we'll leave more room in the car for the wine. Nice fact as an additional bonus. We were allowed to take our not exactly small dog in with us, who immediately made himself comfortable in the cooled room on the tiled floor.

Very friendly staff who took time for us and told us a lot about their family winery. We even got a spontaneous tour of the cellar and the wine production. I can only recommend it.

A nice tasting, the wines are the stars. Our host spoke good English. It is a tasting room, as opposed to sit-down garden. We booked ahead. They had a small plate of delicious cheese, salumi and crackers. They offer options for tasting, we tasted through the 3 chiarettos on offer, plus two whites and three reds. There were more reds available if that is your thing. I would definitely go back.

The striking sales building is certainly an eye-catcher. We had the impression of an up-and-coming family winery. The presentation in the cantina was good. We again bought a diverse selection. The parking sign with the bus warning gave us a bad feeling. We once had an unpleasant encounter with a bus full of senior citizens, none of whom were wine drinkers, which had a negative impact on the tasting.

Always an experience! Nice selection of white and red wines. The boss always explains the wines in detail, also in German, during the tasting. Lots of awards. Our favorite wine is Ripasso.

The best wine house in Veneto! The wines are amazing especially the reds and rosé. The tasting there is led by Davide who is very passionate and knows a ton about wines!

Very warm welcome

We had a very nice time visiting the winery. They had speck, cheese and a variety of crackers for us and offered very generous pours of many wine samples. We found the wine to be very good considering the prices which for one wine started at just 4.50 euro. We took a tour of the celler and facilities which are very new and modern. The upstairs had wonderful views. I recommend a visit you will be very happy if you visit.
