Celebrating 18 Years of Casavyc

Founded in 2002 by Claudio Sabatucci and Viviana Filocamo, Casavyc Winery embodies a passion for crafting exceptional wines that showcase the unique terroir of the Amiata hills. Over nearly two decades, they have gained a loyal following for their elegant and distinctive Tuscan wines, which are celebrated by wine enthusiasts around the globe.

Craftsmanship in the Vineyards

At Casavyc, every bottle reflects the dedication and expertise of the winemaking team. The vineyard's stony, volcanic soil, combined with a favorable microclimate, creates ideal conditions for grape cultivation. Each grape variety, including Pinot Noir, Sangiovese, Semillon, Grenache, and Sauvignon, is harvested and vinified separately, ensuring optimal fermentation and aging for each type.

Elegant Wines with a Unique Touch

Casavyc aims to produce elegant wines in limited quantities, blending traditional techniques with inspiration from French winemaking regions such as Bordeaux, Côtes du Rhône, and Burgundy. Attention to detail is paramount, as even minor variations can significantly influence a wine's character. Many of their standout wines are crafted into unique, high-quality blends. Visitors are welcome to tour the estate and participate in both standard and vertical wine tastings, offering a chance to appreciate the artistry behind each bottle.

Casavyc beautiful experience in the cellar, tasted excellent wines directly from the barrels, a fantastic Pinot Noir Temererio 13, excellent Syrah Sy, the Sauvignon Piano Piano with little pure freshness, then the classic brut method sparkling wine and no more ask, all accompanied by excellent dishes from the starter to the second course, a 60-hectare farm with forest, olive grove and vineyard, congratulations again Claudio and Viviana

It was a real discovery, starting from a dinner by the sea up to arriving here in Scansano where Viviana and Claudio carry on this company with passion and competence, here the terroir has rewarded their dedication and the qualities of the vine are translated into wines unique.

Simply perfect. The visit to the company was not the classic tour of the cellar and tasting. On the contrary, we were welcomed as if we were family friends. Nice smiles at the reception, flexible hours, available to accommodate food requests. Viviana is very good in the kitchen and an excellent hostess, Claudio is a great entertainer and a great expert on the subject. It was a delightful afternoon, in a peaceful setting among the hills, with the sound of birds singing and the sound of wine glasses interrupting the quiet. Very good wines from start to finish. I would have liked to stay until late in the evening if I could!

Love, dedication, passion. This place was an incredible discovery and Viviana and Claudio welcomed us warmly, explaining all the steps for creating their fantastic products, from the vineyard to the barrel. We also had the opportunity to taste the freshly squeezed grape juice! Our tasting was based on rosé, a white and two reds of which I was enchanted. Their oil... delicious! All accompanied by an abundant selection of tastings of excellent and carefully chosen products. Thank you so much. Hope to return soon!

A truly fantastic experience. Claudio and Viviana welcomed us into their farm and showed them their vine selection process and the secrets behind it. The tasting was excellent, we tasted their wines (and oil) all of excellent quality! In particular, they were extra careful with me given my celiac disease. Absolutely recommended wine experience!
