The story of Cascina Gilli began in 1983 when Gianni Vergnano recognized the potential of this remarkable land. With its unique terroir, natural resources, and stunning architecture, the winery quickly began its first productions. Innovative Winemaking

Starting with traditional grape varieties like Freisa and Malvasia, Cascina Gilli has expanded its offerings to include iconic Piedmontese grapes such as Barbera and Nebbiolo. The winery is committed to highlighting indigenous varieties and exploring lesser-known territories. Spanning 12 hectares, their vineyards cultivate Freisa, Barbera, Nebbiolo, Malvasia, Bonarda, and Chardonnay. The region's blue-gray clay marl and limestone soils provide essential nutrients, fostering the growth of these exceptional grapes.
