Tenuta Tenaglia is located on a hill at 450 meters above sea level, surrounded by vineyards on the Sacro Monte di Crea, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2003.

Its roots date back to the 7th century, and the estate continues its commitment to quality by preserving and innovating the ancient winemaking traditions of Monferrato. Our mission is to produce wines of excellence, focusing on native grape varieties, through meticulous work in both the vineyard and the cellar, with great respect for raw materials and local traditions, following integrated farming methods.

If you're in the area, Tenuta Tenaglia is definitely worth a visit, whether for a wine tasting or simply to soak up the atmosphere. The main room boasts a huge picture window overlooking the hills where the vineyards grow—a breathtaking view. The wines are excellent, and time seems to stand still. The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. I recommend not only visiting but also taking a few bottles home.

The drive up into the mountains to this beautifully situated winery was fine. The staff was very friendly. Loading the car was also okay – we just didn't have much space – but we managed. Where others go on vacation, we can go without paying. The only thing that sometimes costs money is your sanity. Not here on March 26, 2023.
