Massimo Rivetti, a Winery in One of the Most Charming Villages in Italy
Massimo Rivetti Family farm is located on the scenic hills of Serraboella. Three farmhouses spread over the fields of Seraboella Hills, namely Froi, Garassino, and Palazzina. The winery of one farmhouse, situated in the historic centre of Neive, covers an area of 25 hectares. The village Neive is one of the most beautiful villages of Italy. The philosophy of the Rivetti Family is to cultivate high-quality grapes to produce prestigious wines.
Producing Wines in Harmony with Nature
The history of Porta San Rocco dates back to the 19th century and the Massimo Rivetti family is producing wines from five generations. Since 2009, the wine production at Massimo Rivetti does not include pesticide or herbicide. In 2016, the winery got certification on all their wines production.
A Combination of International and Indigenous Graoe Varieties
In the vineyards, the owner grows both traditional and international grapes. The winery cultivates a wide variety of indigenous grape under organic certification. It includes Barbera, Nebbiolo, Pinot Nero, Chardonnay. Arneis, Moscato, Dolcetto and Merlot.The yearly production of wines is about 100.000 bottles, mainly divided between Barbaresco and Barbera d’Alba.
