Massimo Rivetti – A Winery in One of Italy’s Most Charming Villages The Massimo Rivetti Family Farm is located on the scenic hills of Serraboella, where three farmhouses stand amidst the rolling vineyards – Froi, Garassino, and Palazzina. The winery itself, housed in one of the farmhouses in the historic center of Neive, covers 25 hectares. Neive is officially recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The Rivetti family’s philosophy is to grow high-quality grapes to produce prestigious wines. Producing Wine in Harmony with Nature The history of Porta San Rocco dates back to the 19th century, and the Massimo Rivetti family has been producing wine for five generations. Since 2009, their winemaking has been carried out without the use of pesticides or herbicides, and in 2016, the entire production achieved organic certification. A Combination of International and Indigenous Varieties In the vineyards, the estate grows both traditional and international grape varieties, all certified organic. These include Barbera, Nebbiolo, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Arneis, Moscato, Dolcetto, and Merlot. The annual production reaches about 100,000 bottles, with a focus on Barbaresco and Barbera d’Alba. A very good cellar to visit. Organic wines, with different vinifications for all tastes. A large choice of wines at all prices, where everyone should be able to find what they are looking for. In addition, the welcome is excellent, they take the time to explain and make all the subtleties of the wines well understood, in short, a cellar whose visit is absolutely essential!

Very interesting tour, we briefly visited the vineyard and then the wine cellar. Afterwards we had a tasting in the wine bar in Neive, where we were able to sit outside. Highly recommended!

Wonderful experience, first a walk in the cellar and in the vineyards to understand the philosophy behind this type of winemaking and then a stop at the wine shop in Neive to taste this nectar with the help of a knowledgeable guide. Thank you for giving us all the love you put into this wonderful work and logically the product of so much commitment can only be a great wine. Definitely worth repeating.

Guided tour of the vineyards, with a detailed explanation of the (immense) work behind it, then to the winery, where everything takes "shape". Then we move to Neive for the tasting. Fantastic experience, really excellent wines, in an environment where you can breathe a truly family atmosphere! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!
