The vineyards at Castello Di Fonterutoli thrive in predominantly stony soils, earning the nickname “wine of the stones.” The estate spans 650 hectares, with 117 hectares dedicated to prime vineyard locations such as Fonterutoli, Siepi, Badiola, Belvedere, and Caggio. The vineyards are situated at altitudes ranging from 230 to 500 meters above sea level, contributing to the unique character of the wines. The winery employs traditional methods for vine cultivation and aging, ensuring consistency and quality that set the standard for top-tier Chianti Classico. With an annual production capacity of 700,000 bottles, each wine reflects the estate's commitment to excellence.
