Experience the Rich Traditions of Tuscany

Located in the stunning hills of Tuscany, Cesani is an organic winery situated in the charming hamlet of Pancole, just a short drive from the historic village of San Gimignano. The biodynamic vineyards and olive groves thrive in the fertile soils between Siena and Florence, allowing the Cesani family to produce exceptional wines and extra virgin olive oils that reflect the unique terroir of the region.

Azienda Agricola Cesani – Committed to Sustainable Practices Since 1949

Founded in the mid-20th century by Guido and Annunziata, the Cesani Estate began with subsistence farming. Their son Vincenzo later took over, introducing innovative techniques while honoring the family’s winemaking heritage. His dedication to organic practices has earned the winery a loyal following among locals. Today, Vincenzo’s daughters, Letizia and Marialusia, manage the vineyards and cellar operations, expanding the estate to 25 hectares. They cultivate renowned grape varieties such as Sangiovese, Vernaccia di San Gimignano, and Ciliegiolo, ensuring the continuation of their family legacy.

Stay Amidst Scenic Beauty

Cesani offers ten charming apartments set in the heart of nature, perfect for those looking to connect with the Tuscan countryside. Each apartment features traditional Tuscan architecture and modern amenities, with decor inspired by the region's colors, including Cotto, Bluette, Rosa, Lilla, and Glicine. Guests can relax in the serene gardens or by the swimming pool, taking in the breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Wonderful place. Breathtaking view. The Vernaccia di San Gimignano here is “La Vernaccia” Top tasting explained in great detail. In addition to Vernaccia there are other very interesting pure and blended wines.

I stayed at the Agritourismo from the Cesani Family for 2 nights. I would give them a thousand stars if I could. I stayed there on my own for two nights in November. I was on common transportation (careful: no bus goes there, bus 128 is a school bus and does not take tourists!) - so it is a 1,5h walk from San Gimigliano. It was quite complex to reach but the hosts helped me to make it work. Maria Luisa who works at the reception is such a nice, attentive person, and has the most perfect English while sharing italien culture and language at the same time. I really appreciated it. The view on the countryside is breathtaking. I woke up the two days for sunrise and i would recommend you to do the same. Breakfast is delicious and the wine tasting was also an experience in itself, which I would highly recommend (and I am French :p). The room was clean, with a private terrace and I slept well. I will definitely be back to share this marvellous place with my family. Thank you to the entire family, but also all the staff from breakfast, room cleaning, and all the ones who maintain this place so blissful 💞💞

My stay at Cesani was great. The room was clean and nice. Breakfast was good. The best part about this place is definitely the view. It was fantastic! The location is also very good. You should definitely have a car to drive there. However, parking is private and very convenient. Also the staff was very friendly and helpful.
